Realer works because the people on it are real and treat each other well. These guidelines apply to your profile, your photos, your messages, and how you act when you meet someone. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Be real
- Use your own recent photos, and make sure your face is visible.
- Be honest about your age, name, and other details.
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account per person. No pretending to be someone else.
Be respectful
Be kind, even when you are not interested. A polite “no thanks” goes a long way. If someone says no or stops replying, let it go.
Not allowed
- Harassment, hate, or threats. No bullying, intimidation, slurs, or attacks on anyone for who they are.
- Nudity or sexual content. No nude or sexual photos, and no sending sexual messages or images to anyone who has not asked for them.
- Spam, scams, or selling. No asking for money, promoting businesses or social accounts, or selling anything.
- Minors. No one under 18, and no content that involves minors.
- Illegal activity. Nothing illegal, including drugs or weapons.
- Sharing others’ info. No posting other people’s photos or personal details outside the app.
What happens if you break the rules
We have zero tolerance for abusive content and behavior. Depending on what happened, we may remove content, suspend your account, or ban you permanently. Serious violations, like threats, abuse, scams, or anything involving minors, lead to an immediate ban. Banned users may not create a new account.
How to report
Tap the … button on someone’s profile or in your chat and choose Report. Reporting also blocks them. You can also email support@joinrealer.com. We review every report, and we aim to respond within 24 hours. Learn more on our Safety page.
